Hello again. How was Christmas?
After a 2-months whirlwind of selling and buying a home, our family finally settled down. The holiday was fun and relaxed: presents, movies, and lots of food. Looking forward to the new year now, as well as getting back to blogging.
As always, I've discovered new products.
Quite a few of them, actually, in the past two months. Below are the ones you must hear about.
1. NARS Creamy Concealer
When it comes to coverage, I'm a MAC girl. But after seeing rave reviews about NARS, I fell under temptation's spell -- and NARS didn't disappoint!
My new NARS Creamy Concealer is both smooth in texture and light to feel. Most of all, though, is that it provided excellent coverage -- a gorgeous veil of smoothness that covered spotty parts and lasted all day. If you're in your mid-30's like I am, you'll appreciate NARS's quality coverage.
2. Pacifica Roll On Perfume
Days of luxury designer perfume are gone. Nowadays, women seek more of a natural, subtle smell.
Pacifica Beauty Products, founded by perfume maven Brook Harvey Taylor and filmmaker Billy Taylor, is taking the beauty world by storm. Here's why: not only are Pacifica products derived from natural ingredients like flowers and spices, they are 100% vegan, absolutely cruelty-free, completely safe and unquestionably sustainable.
According to a recent issue of Entrepreneurs Magazine, "green" is one of the biggest trends in 2014. People no longer seek products that look good and function well; they want products that sooth the soul as well. Pacifica is leading the beauty and skin care world in this cool, new revolution of giving back -- and I did feel good purchasing products with deeper meaning.
Pacifica has a wide array of products, but these roll on perfume are must-have's. They're portable, precise, and smell fantastic. My favorite one is Tuscan Orange, but of course, I like them all.
3. Essie Delicacy
It's soft; it's shimmery; and it's lovely. It's the perfect nail color for any occasion.
4. Emma Fox Clutch
Have you heard of Emma Fox? I haven't until my last trip to Nordstrom Rack.
After borrowing -- and falling in love -- with my mom's MK leather wallet, I headed to the Rack for one of my own only to find myself falling more in love with this beautiful Emma Fox clutch. Its leather felt as soft as feather, and the design is so classically chic.
Forget Kors. Hello Emma.
5. To infinity and beyond!
Okay. That was cheesy.
What I meant to say is that I like infinity scarves, and recommend them to all you girls. In cold weather, they're both functional and fashionable.
6. Wild Friends Nut Butter
Organic, natural and full of flavor -- this jar is clean eating at its best. And it tastes amazing!
Vanilla Espresso is only one of the many flavors Wild Friends has to offer. I recommend you try them all.
7. Jenna Hipp Hand Cream
I like this hand cream because it contains 20% pure shea butter and lathers on thick. It also comes from someone who knows hand care, celebrity green nail stylish Jenna Hipp. She makes sure that her hand cream contains no artificial fragrance, parabens, gluten, phthalates, sythentic dyes or PEG. If you read the ingredients list, it's shorter than most lotions' and is mostly natural. Plus, the product works -- softens and hydrates in no time. It works especially well on winter-dry skin.
Heeey, congrats on the new hoome ^_^ Oh gawd, the nut butter looks like something I would until I get sick :D
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! Congrats on your new home! The Nars concealer and Essie nail polish definitely caught my eyes.

OOooo...I'm so happy for you that you're settling down now! Buying and selling a home is a HUGE deal...I can only dream about buying my own place in the next 10 or 15 years! Belated Merry Christmas! I too have really seen and heard a lot of rave reviews about the creamy, long lasting and well matching qualities of that concealer! The wild organic almond butter also sounds SOOO GOOD! Happy advanced new year!

Congrats on getting a house! So uhhh vanilla Espresso Almond Butter? That just has to be good! :-) Nice recommendations and favorites, I love that Essie shade.
ReplyDeleteHappy home buying/selling! :) I will be taking on that task in the next year! I'm interested in the NARS concealer. For so long I was an assistant buyer in beauty and got so many free beauty products, that I am starting to run out of my concealer and don't know where to turn! May just have to try that baby out.
ReplyDeleteI really want to try the nars concealer, heard so many good things about it! X

i want to try out that concealer!
ReplyDeleteI've tried the individual packets of wild friends and they are all pretty good. I also like Justin's butter.
ReplyDeleteThe Nars concealer is pretty awesome. I'm going to try it next. I wonder if it's better than YSL touché éclat?
