Rain in Seattle...
may not be as much of an oxymoron as a well-versed illiterate or vegan carnivore, its premature debut in early August still surprised most Seattlietes. We're used to summers' endless sunshine now, going outside as much as possible, and tricking ourselves to believe that rain in Seattle was just a rumor, or even an oxymoron.
Rain will NEVER come. Just look at the beautiful sunshine.
Then, the sky showered us...
and brought back the pit-patting sound of raindrops tapping the ground, the bright emerald color of evergreens after being bathed clean, and the refreshing sensation of drizzles on our skin.
As the air turned crisp again...
this half-@ssed Fashion Blogger turned to Autumn color of rusty brown and checkered rain boots.
Isn't it premature to wear dark colors again?
Yes. But so was the first rain.
