Why turquoise?
Because it's summer.
Out with grays and browns, and in with turquoise.
Turquoise is bright, beautiful, and truly perfect for sunny days.
But do Asians look good in Turquoise makeup?
Yes we do! Anyone does. Just make sure you apply the right shade(s) -- instead going excessively bright like neons, shoot for muted tones that agree with Asian skin.
L'oreal eye shadow in Glistening Sea.
This eye shadow is my personal pick. The color is, of course, beautiful. But what I really like is that this shadow contains a gold tint that match Asian women's natural undertone.
Also, the shadow has consistent formula, is easy to apply, and has fantastic lasting power. I highly recommend it.
Quick Asian Makeup Tips and Tutorial
Makeup tip:
To ease into wearing color, especially a bright color like turquoise, use shadow as liner. Rim your eyes with it instead of applying it all over lids.
My suggestion is to stay as close to both top and bottom lash lines as possible.
Makeup tutorial:
Step 1
Using a sponge tip, apply shadow to the top lash line.
Stay as close to the lash line as possible, but try to create a strong, thick band.
Step 2
Now apply shadow to your bottom lash line.
Again, stay as close to lash line as possible, but go 3/4 of the length.
Step 3
Line upper and bottom waterline with a black or charcoal eyeliner.
The purpose of this step is to enhance your eyes, in case the turquoise looks too pronounced and overshadows your eye color.
Step 4
Curl lashes and apply mascara.
There! You are done.

If you are Asian, remember: gold-tinted turquoise looks best on you.
Hope you're enjoy your summer so far. And wearing something bright :O)
This beauty post was brought to you by Jenu Active-Youth Skin Care System
For Women. By Women.
Knowing what women want the most, a team of women scientists and designers created a skin care system that gives women exactly what they want -- luxury and technology.
The JeNu Difference
Using ultrasound wave technology, but encased in a sleek, luxurious system, the JeNu skin care system provides both anti-aging benefits to eye areas, as well as plumbing power to lips.
While most skin tech systems target one area, JeNu is the only one that targets both eyes and lips.
Plus, have I mentioned its sleek design? Fine. I'll mention it again.
Here's what JeNu has to say:
As a woman ages chronologically, physical age and wrinkle reduction become a concern.
Wrinkles are caused by many factors: insufficient
hydration, lack of sleep, insufficient vitamins, environmental elements,
failure in skin elasticity, a lack of collagen and several other
factors.
It may not be possible to avoid all of the causes, but there is
a system to help correct the damage that’s been done.
JeNu’s ultrasound wave wand and specially formulated topical cream work
together to effectively assist in ridding of wrinkles. The two work in
combination to correct the problem at its source. For instance, the
ultrasound waves go deep within the skin to deliver results. The
ultrasound wave wand also enables the topical cream to penetrate deeper
into the epidermis to increase hydration and combat wrinkles further.
The results can be seen nearly immediately with substantial results in 2
weeks.
The secret rests in the proprietary blend of ingredients that are able
to penetrate the skin where other products merely sit on top of the
skin. This is why a topical cream, alone, cannot deliver the results
that this unparalleled system offers. Wrinkles do not form on the skin’s
surface, but deep within the individual layers of the skin. Using a
topical cream will only treat the surface of the skin, which does little
to relieve the appearance of wrinkles and why they quickly return.
JeNu’s revolutionary system helps to correct wrinkles at the source to
reveal a youthful appearance.
I really liked the makeup, I always buy bright shades and ended up using more subtle makeup XD
