In the past few years of writing this beauty blog, I've acquired an impressive list of staple products. St. Ives Apricot Scrub, a favorite among other beauty bloggers, has been my go-to face scrub so far.
Last week, I felt curious, and picked up another product by St. Ives, St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub. This one promises to tone and firm. My favorite scrub in an anti-aging version? Really? I felt intrigued.
After a few days with my new scrub, I am loving it! Below is my thorough review of the product.
St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub Review
Price: around $3 at drugstores
Quality and Performance
- Consistent formula.
- Easy to apply and distributed evenly.
- Sufficient cleaning power.
After using the scrub, I also wiped excess makeup with a Clearasil pad. The wipe picked up very little extras.
|
Let's test its cleaning power with lipstick, foundation and mascara. |
|
Just a dime size is enough. |
|
Add water and lightly rub. |
|
Rinse it off. As you can see, still a bit lipstick left on my hand. |
|
Afterward, I cleaned with a Clearasil pad. Looks like there's little dirt left. |
Feel
- Skin felt absolutely refreshed and smooth afterwards.
- Gentle beads exfoliated skin and cleared pores.
|
Love the scrub's exfoliating beads. |
