What I'm Loving Right Now - Budget-Friendly Beauty Products - A Beauty Blog Post
As a self-funded beauty blogger, I'm always discovering and sharing the best in cheap makeup and skincare. After last couple months' trial-and-error, I found a few budget-friendly beauty products to share. Not only do they proffer outstanding results, they save money too.
1. Olay Age-Defying Anti Wrinkle Day Lotion
Cost: $8.99 (on sale at Safeway)
Why love it?
Because Olay is a trusted brand. And this particular lotion contains SPF and moisturizes well.
2. ELF Eyelash Curler
Cost: $1.49 at E.L.F website
Why love it?
Because it gives lashes a feather-shaped bend, and keeps them that way for a few hours.
3. Garnier Skin Renew BB Cream
Cost: $9.99 at Target
Why love it?
My initial reaction to this BB cream wasn't positive, but after several months' use, I have grown to like it. It adds a flawless veil to your skin without feelings of heaviness and disgust.
4. Carmex Healing Lotion
Cost: $1.49 per travel-sized tube from Bartell's
Why love it?
Because dry hands and winter go hand-in-hand (no pun intended). This lotion combats dryness like nothing else I have tried.
5. Chap Stick Medicated
Cost: $2 - 3 at drugstores
Why love it?
Because in winter's dry and windy weather, regular Chap Stick isn't enough. You need something medicated!
6. Ellen Tracy Pore Extractor
Cost: Around $5 at Marshall's
Why love it?
Because it is easy to use -- if you need guidance, just watch a youtube video -- and gently takes away dirt and oil trapped under your pores.
7. Wet n' Wild ColorIcon Trio Eye Palette in "Don't Steal My Thunder."
Cost: $2.99 at drugstores
Why love it?
Because it's holiday season, and for those late nights out on the town, you need long-lasting, sexy smokey eyes.
Hope you saw something you like.
Any other suggestions?
