Thighs -- thunderous. Backside -- double whammy. What else can get fat? Oh yeah, your face.
What causes bloating during pregnancy?
Blame it on pregnancy hormones, or progesterone. It causes muscle tissues, which are usually tight, to relax. One of these muscles is your gastrointestinal tract. Its loosening slows your digestion and metabolism, causing your body to bloat and your face to puff.
How to stop bloating during pregnancy?
Sorry girlies, there's nothing you can do about bloating during pregnancy. So why don't you just let Mother Nature do her thing. However, you can relieve pregnancy bloating by trying the following tricks:
Ice it down
Ice, or anything cold, constricts blood vessels, which pump vibrantly during pregnancy and also cause your face to puff.
Put ice cubes in a plastic bag, and lay it on your face before morning makeup. Puffiness should reduce after a few minutes.
Ice in a bag - such a cheap trick. |

Contour face with bronzer
Bronzer's naturalness can also slenderize your face, if you apply it correctly.
Contour your face with a bronzer by brushing it on the areas below your cheek bones and towards the back. This creates a hollow look.
Love using N.Y.C bronzer and Ecotools brush. |
A few strokes contours face slim. |
Before
Round and well-endowed. |
After
A little better. Hope you can see the difference. |
Straighten your hair
Sleek hair not only exudes sophistication but also provides a slenderizing effect. Try it. You'll love the look.
A hair tool slims the face? Now that's a double whammy. |
Before
Rounder with waves. |
After
Sleek, straight and slim. |
the ice trick is a classic technique -- love it! :)

Your face doesn't look bloated at all! You have really glowing skin :) My face is just naturally fat, no contouring can help it :p The ice tip sounds interesting though.

Hi
ReplyDeleteThat is a good post :) Guess we should enjoy the phase and yes highlight the cheek bones and sharpening the jaw lines is the best way to slim down the face.

You look so pretty in these pics! Love your hair and makeup. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful! Increasing your water intake can help with bloating, too. =) And cutting out foods high in sodium. I only know this because I was a big bloated mess when I was pregnant! lol
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a tutorial on contouring your face with bronzer, it looks so good but I've never done it before and would be a total novice at it! I'm not pregnant but these tips are great :) xx

These are some great tips, not just for pregnant women but for everyone! Every morning I wake up with my face feeling puffy and the ice or cold wash cloth really helps! And definitely agree that bronzer helps a lot! I love using it to slenderize my round face!

Great tips girl! Definetly bronzer is a huge one to do and also using a lighter powder around the eye area brings the focus into the center of your face. My nose always grew with my pregnancies, it would get sooo wide...weird things the body does!
ReplyDeleteHe estado muy ocupada estas semanas, pero ya me puse al día con tus posts!

ReplyDeleteThis is a great post. You look glowing and beautiful and I can see a subtle difference between the two photos. The first time I tried contouring it was amazing how much my cheekbones popped. I've recreated the look with varying degrees of success since then.
ReplyDeleteWow!that's so stylish!
