I still pinch myself at how lucky I am. It's been five years since Hubby and I were married, and the BEST five years of my life!
Because of my condition, we can't do much. But on Friday night, we did hire a sitter for two hours to have a simple dinner out.
To accommodate the belly, I decided on a sheer, empire-waist-ed shirt over skinny jeans. When the slenderizing effect of the skinnies accompanies the comfort of an empire waist, this pregnancy fashion worked out quite well for a sweet date night.

Empire waist and skinnies are great for second trimester. |
A side shot to show the belly. |
On Sunday, I woke up to the most beautiful dozen of long, stemmed roses. Hubby really knows how to spoil a girl :O)
I definitely think it's the way to go :D I've never been pregnant but I feel like it's the most flattering shape to wear for 2!

I think the empire waist is perfect for pregnancy, it doesn't constrict the tummy as much as a regular blouse would. I'm happy you got to go out with the hubby! He's so sweet for giving you flowers :)

I do, actually. I think that sort of waist accentuates the curves in a subdued and graceful way. Can't say I have my own personal experience, but I've been able to appreciate it on others.

You are downright adorable as a preggo! I think the empire waist looks great on skinny preggos like you. I wasn't much of a skinny preggo at all and didn't like the way the empire waist looked on me.
