Happy Monday, fashionable girlies! How was everyone's weekend?
If you haven't noticed yet -- plaid is everywhere! Possibly because it's such a versatile style of clothing.
For a recent event, I barely had time to change from mommy gear to business wear. So, I threw on a pencil skirt over the plaid shirt I already wore.
The result? Instant dress up!

ReplyDeletei love plaid!! so creative to mix it up w the pencil skirt. i love the look. i usually associate plaid w more casual looks, need to change my way of thinking and change it up! :D
ReplyDeleteThis does look very dressed up and subtly sexy too! I actually only have one plaid shirt... and it's more of a bright aqua with yellow.. farmer shirt that isn't exactly good for dressing up at all. I think I need to expand my options!
ReplyDeleteGreat belt! You wear belts so much better than I do!
ReplyDeleteLovely- admittedly I wouldn't have thought to mix the plaid shirt with the pencil skirt, but this is wonderful! I particularly like the boots you are wearing with this.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet words on my post on Tiffany's blog!

This is really cute! I think it really works because the color pallet of the plaid is more 'grown up'. It wouldn't work so well if it were more junior-y. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the shirt!
