DOWN-TO-EARTH BROWN - AN OUTFIT POST

What do you feel like wearing today --  cheerful brights or down-to-earth brown?

Flirty and colorful, brights are fun. Some days, however, I feel a bit grounded, and go for something brown.

This brown sweater dress may not scream for attention, but it has its own charm. It's earthy, mature, and super comfy -- something I can just throw on, wear all day long, and still look put-together.


Throw on a sweater dress over leggings, and you are ready to go.

Brights are nice, but so are earthy browns.

Now that I have made my choice, what about you?

Will you be wearing down-to-earth brown?

    This is a gorgeous outfit - absolutely love the boots. i really like brown cos you can wear loads of different shades but they still pull together and look great. Also it's one of those flattering-on-everyone colours so you never have to worry about it not suiting you!

    P.S. cute bag - the paler shade is a lovely touch ♥

    sure looks very warm and comfy :). now that i'm back in texas, the weather again here has been rainy and gloomy -_-. i tend to go for darker colors as well, but come to think of it now, i don't think i have any brown colored clothing :O. i mostly own greys and blacks. :)

    yes I am like you, I go through the moods. Sometimes I'm neutral, sometimes brights. I definitely like your sweater dress, looks so flattering on your figure, and the boots are perfect with it.

    Brown is so pretty on you! I tend to gravitate towards brighter colors. And even if I do wear neutrals, I like to throw some color into the look just for fun. lol It's hard for me to stick with just one color!

    That colour is divine on you, and I like how the shape of sleeves give it some structure. Sweater dresses are so versatile. Brown's in heavy rotation in my wardrobe. (BTW I love all the questions in your posts -it's so engaging!)
