Skin Care blog Post - CLINIQUE REPAIRWEAR FOUNDATION REVIEW



Why must manufacturers stop making good makeup?

Clinique Repairwear Foundation, which I just purchased over the summer, has fallen victim to discontinuation.

Sad for me, I really like using it. 

Because this product has been discontinued, my review will be short and sweet. Here goes...

Likes
  • Smooth, matte finish
  • Flawless, full coverage
  • Easy-to-use pump bottle
Dislikes
  • Discontinued (lol)
  • Formula is a little heavy
 Anti-Aging Effect
  • I honestly can't tell a difference right now, but since it contains SPF 15, it at least minimizes sun damage

Overall Rating

Repurchase?

I wish!

Before:
Hmm...not too pretty


Add a tiny bit on the hand


Apply evenly with a foundation brush 
using: M.A.C 188


After:
skin appears much smoother


What do you think? Not bad, right?

    So sad this is discontinued!!! I really would have loved to try it. It is hard to find a good foundation.

    I really need to get some foundation. I never really use one. Now i live in cooler place which is LA. i definitely need to protect my skin. I was thinking about Asian BB cream. Do u know any idea about bb cream? Idk which one to choose..

    Sucks! I find L'oreal does this all the time to lotions that I love. I just poted about my new foundation (I'[m generally new to foundation itself). It's Laura Mercier Silk Creme and I'm liking it a lot. Also just saw that some Asian ELLE editor listed Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer as a best seller in Asia. hth

    The makeup looks nice though. I used Clinique's superbalanced makeup but stopped only to try MAC... I'll be doing a review on them soon :)

    annoys me when that happens. i am pretty happy now though b/c i usually go without foundation. after laser treatment my face has this glow but sunblock is so necessary now due to more sensitivity to the sun.

    They discontinued it after 1 season?! That's not cool! I'm a huge fan of Clinique! They always make good makeup and skincare =) I used to use their Even Better foundation, which was really good! But I'm not sure if it's d/c now or not :p
