I remember someone telling me that baby oil works well as an eye makeup remover. Today, after receiving a bottle of Burt's Bee Organic Baby Oil in the stocking, I wanted to try removing my eye makeup with it.
The result? WONDERFUL!
The oil quickly rid of heavy makeup. In about 2-3 hard wipes, my dark makeup, including clumpy mascara, was gone. Plus, it did not irritate my eyes - must be the whole "organic" deal!
Yikes! Started out with some heavy (and colorful) makeup!
Wiping it a few times with Burt's Bee Organic Baby Oil.
Nice! All that makeup - all gone!
I was very happy with the results. Yay for discovering another way - and a natural way as a matter of fact - to remove eye makeup!
I'll be traveling the next week. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! SEE YOU IN THE NEW YEAR!!
Awesome, but does it remove waterproof mascara?!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and have a wonderful trip!
Hmmm...I use Almay makeup pads. They're very unmessy. But I'm sure this way is very moisturizing!
ReplyDeletehappy holidays. baby oil works wonders for eye makeup removal i use it every night to take off my makeup. have a safe trip
ReplyDeleteI currently use baby oil as makeup remover, and it's amazing! The oil just melts everything away so quickly, and it's absolutely non-irritating (=
ReplyDeleteWoah that's awesome!! Do you know if it takes off waterproof mascara?
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I'm always running out of make-up remover anyway! And the more natural the better:)

What a great idea! I never remember to buy makeup remover and this is such a clever solution! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWow,
ReplyDeleteDefinitely going to try this. I am out of eye makeup remover and will grab a bottle of this the next time I am out.
When in doubt, use baby products! :) They're so gentle on the skin as compared to the more potent ones in the market that irritate the skin. :s
ReplyDeleteBurt's Bees has great products from the lip balms to the oils. <3
Really? My mom is doing the same thing, but it ends up with broken lashes. She then bought herself a decent make up remover. I guess it's the different brand of the baby oil?
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing this tip! i don't know why i didn't think of doing this :)

I'm beginning to think that cleansing oils are too, too overpriced! What do you think of just using a reg. Johnson & Johnson baby oil as a remover?
