THE MAKING OF HUBBY'S LOVEWICH

Every girlie girl knows that to get to a man's heart is through his stomach.
Since I have been on leave from work, I have been allowed time to make hubby's lunch sandwich.
I call it a "Lovewich" (I know, cheesy) because it's hearty and made with love :O)
Plus, hubby loves the way it tastes, at least that's what he says.

So if anyone wants a tasty, hearty and easily made sandwich stacked with protein, here's how:

What you need:
  • A little bit of onions and a little bit of scallions (green onions)
  • 2 med eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • cheese (optional)
  • oil or pam
  • 2 tbl sp. of butter
  • Honey mustard
  • Cold cut turkey or ham or both
What you do:
Step 1: Chop chop

Dice onions and scallions

Step 2: Into the bowl
Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Dump chopped onion and scallions in the egg bowl.

Step 3: Fry those eggs
Heat pan. Spray pam in the pan (or some oil is fine). Turn heat to med. Fry eggs in the pan. Wait until one side is cooked and flip the eggs over. Top the cooked side that's flipped over with some cheese (optional). Take eggs out when it's done.

Step 4: Butter up the bread
Heat up another pan. Add butter. Toast both pieces of bread with butter.

Step 5: Hello honey (mustard)
On the buttered side of each piece of bread, add some honey mustard (or condiment of your choice).

Step 6: Stack on the muscle
Put fried eggs on bread. Top the eggs with a generous amount of turkey and ham cold cuts.

DONE!!!!

Add some cookies for desert and hubby has a delicious, nutritious lunch.

Like what my friend Anita said, "everything tastes better if it's made with love."
Now you can made your guy his own "Lovewich".
